Pest control and the pests that they always deal with

We oftentimes overlook the problem of pests during this time of modern houses. Pests are one of the problems in our house that we can’t seem to get rid of. And it does not just affect those normal or poor houses.  You can have million dollar houses.But those houses can also be colonized and infested just like the poor houses.  So what can we do?There are ways to control and exterminate them so they won’t bother your houses anymore.  One of those ways is to hire a pest control company.

During summertime, the biggest problem would be ants.  That is the biggest call I get from clients during the summer for my San Diego exterminator company. During the summer ants are gathering food for the winter.And due to the heat outdoors they come into our houses to build their colonies instead.  And once they get into your home it is hard to get rid of.You won’t be able to eliminate all of them just by using an ant spray.You will need a professional pest controller to do it for you.

Some steps on finding transmission problems

One of the most expensive auto repairs you can do is a transmission repair.It is a major part of your vehicle.Being sure to take care of it is really important.  By taking care of your car you can save yourself a lot of money.Since this is a repair you can’t do on your own, you still have some things that you can check.   By checking it at home you can make sure you need to take it in.

First off since I own a Vista auto repair shop I know how expensive transmission repairs can be.So i like to have my clients do some checks themselves prior to taking it in.This way you can double check to see if it really needs to be brought in.First thing they can do is check the fluid.The fluid has to be clear.If the fluid is dark or black that is an indication of a problem and they have to bring their car in.

Another thing they can check is to see if the gear shifts normally.You accomplish this by simply moving the gears from park to drive.Or you can shift it from park to reverse.  What you are looking for is for the gears to shift smoothly.What you don’t want to feel is any jerking motion.If you notice that there is jerking, this is a bad sign that there is a problem with your transmission.  In my La Costa transmission repair shop this is one of the big signs of transmission problems.A bunch of cars that were taken in have this problem.

Finally you can check for any leaks of your transmission fluid.This is another thing you can do with your dipstick.But you won’t know unless you perform this check regularly.  I advise all my customers in my La Costa auto repair shop to always check your fluids.People are used to checking for oil.  But they should also check their transmission fluid.This allows you to know if their is any leaking of fluid.

What really drives athletes to excel

We marvel at how athletically gifted our sports stars are. They are truly athletically gifted. But one thing we don’t realize is how important psychology plays into athletics.But it makes sense when you think about it.  Because sports isn’t about only physical ability.When we are talking about competition the mind is always involved.That would be why most of these athletes that we idolize are not just physically gifted.  But when you talk to them you realize they are mentally gifted as well.

Now what I would like to share from my experience as a sports psychologist San Diego is that you can become great in that aspect as well.  One thing you might not have control over your physical skills.But yo can control how tough you are mentally. Sometimes that allows someone who isn’t as talented physically beat out someone who is.We know it is true most of the time.  And the factor that allows the less talented to succeed is their mind.

So hiring a success coach is what most athletes do nowadays. Most success coaches are therapists.  Just like me, I run a San Diegofamily therapist business and part of that includes helping athletes.  It makes sense that a therapist who is skilled with dealing with mind problems help in this area.

It is not uncommon for an athlete that is struggling psychologically come seek my help with their depression issues.  A lot of the times that depression was caused by their failures.  So as a depression counseling it has allowed me to implement sports psychology to overcome their depression.Most of the time, all they need is that one. Because the depression was caused by failure.Make them successful and you also get rid of their depression.

So hopefully you see the secret to success isn’t always physical. No, most of the the times, the secret to success is all in the mind. And by making themselves mentally tougher athletes become more successful.

One of the repairs that will cost you a lot on a car is having the transmission done.It is a repair that you do that you really don’t want to hear you have to do.  So of course most people want to know how to make it last longer.Or they really are wanting to know can it be done. Second thing they can do is that heat kills transmissions.So you will want to do some things that will help your transmission to run cooler.  One of the best ways to do that is to add transmission cooler.  You can easily find it at most auto parts dealers.  Of course when clients come and bring their cars in to our Vista auto repair shop we add it in also.This allows the transmission to run a lot cooler.

Finally this way is going to be easy.  Never shift gears until you come to a complete stop.  You will be surprised at the number of people who ruin their cars by shifting gears while the car is moving.  I am not because we see it all the time in our La Costa auto repair shop.People have their cars come in with transmissions ruined because they tried to shift while it was moving.

Midwives and what they do during a pregnancy
